Hebrews 12:1-2 "Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
The time has come for us to refocus our lives on Jesus. The Bible says that the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. If we fix our eyes on Jesus, our hope is in the Lord. Throughout the nations, there is a great need for Jesus. In our country, we need to turn our focus back to God. Jesus desires for all of us to be fully committed to Him and putting our goals and desires on Him. Sometimes is may be easy to get caught up in our religion or church programs, but ultimately Jesus is where we should keep our eyes focused. Fixing our eyes on Jesus allows us to see what His heart and purposes ultimately are for the world and for our lives.
